Since birthing my baby boy at home two years ago, I've been incredibly passionate about helping other women who are pregnant and new mothers with their nutrition. Eating healthy for your pregnant body and your postpartum self is a game changer for both mother and baby. My other passion is of course, gut health! Without a healthy gut, most things aren’t able to function all that well.
I knew something was off. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but deep down, I could feel that my body was out of sync. I was trying to figure out the why and the how, and then someone sent me a post about hormones. I thought, “Okay… maybe there’s something to this,” so I went and had my hormones tested.
Sure enough—they were seriously imbalanced. My cortisol was chronically elevated, among other things, and it finally made sense why I felt so exhausted, stressed, and just… off. I started working with a coach who helped me learn how to actually eat for my hormones, reduce my toxic load, move in a way that supported my cycle, and even align how I worked in my business with where I was hormonally. I had no idea how much all of this impacted my body.
